Some of Our Key Achievements in 2011:
The Society commissioned the University of Brighton and Plumpton College to carry out research into the health benefits of riding in the UK
The BHS National Bridleroute Network grew by 29 percent this year with 71 routes being added and the 'On Horseback’ trail guide was launched in 2011 with a number of scenic rides for all to enjoy.
We ran 11 inspirational riding projects at BHS Approved Riding Centres around the UK offering opportunities to disadvantaged young people
We welcomed 60 newly qualified instructors throughout the UK and We enrolled in excess of 70 new Approved Riding Schools and Livery Yards
